Is it hard to find the cabin by water?

No, but it is a good idea to get an idea of the area before heading out on the water. A good resource is off the Wisconsin DNR website: Maps of Chippewa Flowage

Also, there is occasionally SHALLOW WATER coming in and out of the bay area. Be on the lookout. We have no problem getting our fishing boat or pontoon (with 14 people aboard) through the bay area.

How is the fishing by you?

The Chippewa Flowage is home to the world record muskellunge. Anglers enjoy walleye, large and smallmouth bass, northern pike, perch, crappie, bluegill and muskellunge. The average max depth of the Chippewa Flowage is around 30' but just outside Dream Big Bay is Moonshine Lake that is 90' deep.

A good resource to check out is: Chippewa Flowage Fishing Report

All fish cleaning should be done in the provided fish house and NOT in the cabin.
